Scope of Activities
Secovi-SP is highly acknowledged by public authorities, business and academic communities, and the media. The entity participates in forums, committees and boards of various government agencies and partners up with key representative associations in Brazil and abroad.
As a representative of an industry responsible for providing housing, jobs and leisure activities, Secovi-SP maintains an ongoing constructive dialogue with government authorities and actively participates in housing and urban planning related projects, thus influencing decisions that affect the dynamics of real estate market behavior.
On a social level, Secovi-SP acts in partnership with the Ampliar Project Association, a São Paulo based NGO logistically supported by the Syndicate to educate and train underprivileged youths on life and job skills through professional training and income generation courses. Since its inception in 1991, the Association has trained more than 20 thousand young people. It has also enhanced its volunteer support program through donation campaigns with the proceeds going to needy communities supported by the project.
